Charlotte Designer, Tara Davis, Needs Your Red Carpet Votes!
Written by CharlotteSTYLE // November 25, 2011 // Fashion // No comments
Its every designer’s dream to have their dress worn on the red carpet at a major event. Now, Charlotte designer Tara Davis, creator of Flow by Tara Davis, has that chance but she needs your help to do it.
Adrianna Papell for E! Live From the Red Carpet is hosting a contest on Facebook that allows fans to vote on your favorite original red carpet design. That dress can be produced by Adrianna Papell and the winning designer will be flown into Hollywood to see her creation make its red carpet debut and featured in an E! broadcast at the Academy Awards.
But Tara can’t do it alone, she needs your support daily (through November 27) to make this happen. To vote for Tara’s gown, click here.
I hope you will join me in supporting one of our own, Tara Davis, in making this dream come true. Share this post and tell your friends!

A life-long fat girl, Sommer Johnson decided to strap on some fancy tennis shoes, wrestle into a sports bra that would likely be one size too small (they always are--that's what you get with big boobs), and go on a 38 week journey to run the Peachtree Road Race. In the midst of trying to find her healthier self, she found that her struggle was not all that rare. Between the full-figured audience of her online publication, Gemini Magazine, and friends who were rowing up the fat river with no paddle, Sommer decided to share her journey to help women like her get past their fears (and get moving--literally). A runner newbie, Insanity graduate, Turbofire enthusiast, and foodie experimenter, Sommer Johnson is a 32 year old mother of 2 and wife of 1 who lives in Atlanta, GA.
