International Fashion Style Academy Announces Upcoming Schedule

In addition to their certification courses, he International Fashion Style Academy is launching a select series of industry related one-day classes to jumpstart or recharge your fashion and style career.

“These classes were designed to put real working knowledge of current fashion markets at your fingertips,” says Sonya Barnes, CEO and Founder of the International Fashion Style Academy. ” You will learn some of fashions most coveted insider information from some of the most talented and highly respected individuals in the fashion industry.”

All classes are held at the Hilton Center City, Charlotte, NC. Registration and Continental Breakfast are at 8:30am and classes will be held from 9am to 1pm

December 10, 2011 – The Industry and Future of Fashion Styling

February 4, 2012 – Fashion Trends & Forecasting

What makes a trend a trend? That’s exactly what this course aims to teach you, along with how to “forecast” and work with trends in styling. We’ll also be taking a look at the evolution of trends for fashion 2012

February 18, 2012 – Post NY Fashion Week Reports of Emerging Trends

We’ll have just returned from NY Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012. We will debrief on the top looks by established – as well as emerging – designers and discuss how to work with your clients in creating signature looks.

March 3, 2012 – Global Glamour & International Fashion Styles

If you’ve ever wanted to explore the ever-changing landscape of fashion on continents like Europe and Asia then this is the class for you! Not only will we talk about emerging trends abroad, but also who’s who as far as top haute couture designers go worldwide. You’ll also receive a step-by-step guide to building connections to access global looks for your clients.
