A cow, a fish, and a bus team up to collect Toys for Tots in Charlotte. Sounds like the start of a really bad joke, but it’s really the start of the perfect holiday story.
The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar in SouthPark will collect new, unwrapped toys in an attempt to “Stuff The Bus” — The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bus that is. The Cowfish restaurant has been packed (with up to two hour waits) nightly since opening last Thanksgiving. To help say thanks to the community, The Cowfish is asking customers to bring new, unwrapped toys to the bus. When the bus is officially stuffed, they’ll drive it over to Toys for Tots. (The bus is hard to miss: it’s an old re-painted school bus with a cow, a fish and a cowfish emblazoned on the side.)
The Cowfish will kicked off its “Stuff The Bus” campaign for Toys for Tots on Black Friday, Nov. 25 . Anyone donating a toy will be entered to win a variety of prizes including dinner for four and a ride to and from The Cowfish in the bus.
Toys will be collected at The Cowfish, 4310 Sharon Rd. Suite X105, Charlotte, and sister restaurant eeZ Susion Fushi, 16925 Birkdale Commons Pkwy, Huntersville. Friends can follow the progress of the campaign by checking either www.facebook.com/thecowfish or www.facebook.com/eezfusion.

Between the full-figured audience of her online publication, Gemini Magazine, and friends who were rowing up the fat river with no paddle, Sommer decided to share her journey to help women like her get past their fears (and get moving--literally).
