Perry’s at SouthPark has moved to a new location and in doing so is hosting special events during the entire month of February. One of the month’s kickoff events was a private party held on Wednesday, February 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. hosting 100 people close to the Perry family and their business. The evening was a time to celebrate and reflect back on the 34 years Perry’s has been a well-known local fine, antique, and estate jewelry store.
The move was due to a need for more room and the desire to provide customers with more services. Now, customers at Perry’s can enjoy their jewelry shopping experience in a 4,000 square foot luxurious showroom that includes 12 private buy offices and an elegant reception area.
Owner Ernest Perry is excited about the “personal shopping experience” that the new store allows for. Shoppers can now try on 100 pieces at one time if they want to, where that wasn’t a possibility at the old location in the SouthPark mall. When asked about the latest jewelry trends he’s noticing, Perry says, “We see a lot more young people interested in estate and antique jewelry. Antique style rings are really popular.”
Another expansion is in the Perry’s at SouthPark team itself. Ernest and Priscilla Perry’s oldest daughter, Hadley Perry Pacheco, recently joined the team as the Vice President and General Counsel. Hadley loves the comfortable elegance the new location has and is looking forward to expanding the Perry’s at SouthPark’s wedding services considering she’s a newlywed herself and understands the process firsthand.
The expanded store boasts a multi-dimensional shopping experience where not only customers can buy pieces, but there are more than a dozen appraisers, two coin specialists and a custom jeweler to round out the Perry’s offering of services.
On Friday, February 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. is the Wine and Cheese Celebration which is the public grand opening with 107.9 The Link’s Bob and Sheri. On Saturday, February 4th is an all day public reception from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Del Frisco’s provided the red and white wine as well as the passed hors d’oeuvres.
Perry’s at SouthPark’s new location is across the street from the mall, in the gold building at 6525 Morrison Blvd. For more information visit www.perrysjewelry.com.
