Minty Fresh

Like a bowl full of after dinner mints, the spring fashion line up is full of pastel colors. These colors symbolize springtime, renewal, and a refresh of seasons.  Extracting mint from this pastel palette is a fresh take on this color scheme.  It is the unconventional pastel…the more modern, little sister of blushes and pinks. Here’s how I see mint…you know that burst of sharp, freshness you get when you pop a candy mint in your mouth?  That’s the effect this color has on your attire. It is a soft display with a burst of “freshness”.  To avoid too closely resembling the Easter Bunny, it is best to pair this aqua-tinged green with pieces outside of the pastel family.  Here are two great ways to pull off this minty -fresh look:
