Outfit Inspiration: Floral Skinnies

Spring has bloomed and floral denim is here. Like it or not, it’s a trend this summer and personally I’m stopping to smell the roses whole bouquet.  There are so many reasons to embrace this feminine flair; for (1) it is girly (2) it is fresh (3) pretty flowers make you smile (4) color options galore (5) can be as bold or dainty as you want to be depending on color palette and print size (6) creates a focal point so you may opt to go sans accessories (7) did i mention it is GIRLY!!!  Apologies for the “sans accessories” comment previously, I must have been high on the floral aroma and temporarily lost my mind.  Now back to the joyous ease of wearing pretty, pretty petunias on your legs.  Flounce about town shopping and running errands in ballet flats, a loose yet slimming tee, don your cool fedora and “your” favorite IT bag.  Fast forward 4 hours later, YIKES… time flies when you’re shopping!  No need to worry because your fancy floral skinnies can easily be transformed into a lovely evening look.  Trade out your tee for  a flirty peplum top, slip on killer neutral heels (long and lean baby), final touches with accessories and you’re on your way out the door.

See, you really can take this trend NOW & LATER/DAY & NIGHT.  Bet you didn’t realize floral skinnies were oh so versatile.  ;)
