Meet Adrienne Hess : STYLE’s Featured Contributor of the Month
After a stint in NYC, Adrienne moved back to North Carolina to be closer to her crazy family. She voraciously devours fashion magazines and blogs, hoping to integrate that love with her love of photography and writing. She’s uber excited to be writing for Charlotte STYLE and wants to turn writing about fashion into a full-blown career. Read more of Adrienne’s stories here

Features I write for STYLE I write Fashion Trends, as well as cover fashion related events around Charlotte.
When I’m not blogging I’m… Looking for a full-time job, reading, painting, and wrestling with my big 100 pound boxer, Dekker (he literally punched me in the face yesterday).
My favorite place to eat is… Either New Zealand Cafe or Pure. New Zealand Cafe has the best crispy eel roll, but Pure certainly has the best margaritas.
My favorite TV show is… My favorite TV show of all time is Alias. My favorite show on-air now is probably White Collar. Yeah, there is a theme there.
Favorite place to shop… I don’t think there’s a favorite. There are so many places where I find great pieces, and I think my wardrobe reflects that variety.
My personal style is… Edgy with sass, but polished. My friend Camille says it’s “business, rocker chic.” She has a way with words.
If Hollywood made a movie about my life the actress that would play me is… Zooey Deschanel
I’m truly inspired by… Travel. I get inspired every time I travel someplace new and experience a different culture with different landscapes.
The thing I love the most about blogging is… I like to get my opinions out there and share the styles I personally enjoy on a platform where I can hear back from my readers.
If I won the lottery, I’d… When I was 8 years old, I would have said buy the Builtmore Estate and fill it with my friends and a bunch of different dogs, but someone crushed those dreams by informing me the state owns the Estate and I wouldn’t be able to buy it. I would probably be responsible with 50% of it and invest and then travel around the world with the rest.
