September is sweet for Betsey Johnson, who celebrated her 70th birthday last week. True to form, the flamboyant designer threw an over-the-top fête featuring the classic vocal stylings of Cyndi Lauper, as well as Sky Ferriera, proving that girls truly just want to have fun, no matter what age. Pink confetti showers, a giant cake, a capsule runway show of all her favorite frocks, and a slew of New York It-girls in attendance made this fashion week soirée one to remember. A-listers dressed to the nines, including Corey Kennedy, Byrdie Bell, Charlotte Ronson and Kelly Osborne sipped on champagne splits and danced the night away. We couldn’t think of a better blowout.
