It’s hard to escape the presence of Kim Kardashian these days and lucky for us, she is sharing the secret to how she constantly has her signature flawless look.  It’s all about highlighting and contouring! The concept is pretty simple…what you highlight will come forward and what you contour will go back.  You naturally want your eyes to pop, so notice the almost white shading under her eye and across the top of her cheek. This gives “racoon eyes” a whole new meaning!   She also uses the highlight down the bridge of her nose, running all the way up to her forehead and in the center of her chin.  Kim uses a darker, contour color along the sides of her nose and then uses the “3” technique.   The name came because when you sweep bronzer along the outer edge of your forehead, just under your cheekbone and along your jawline you draw the number “3”.   Since we obviously do not see her walking around like she is entering a battle, there is a lot of blending that has to happen before the masterpiece is complete.  While this is probably not going to be a part of your everyday makeup routine, just think about taking a little extra time before your next date night or ladies night out to try this technique.  It is a simple, effective way to entertain a whole new look!
