This isn’t your run-of-the-mill cooking demo in a classroom setting, but a fully-integrated, hands-on educational experience. Chef Carrie Hegnauer, also known as Culinary Carrie, is hosting”Hors d’Oeuvres and Appetizers,” at The Kitch (8305-D Magnolia Estates Dr., Cornelius).
Learn how to create inspired hors d’oeuvres and appetizers to dazzle friends and family this holiday party season. Chef Carrie will lead the exploration of options with various colors, textures and temperatures, talk about themes and presentation and give you the tools to create amazing appetizers and hors d’oeuvres at your next event. During this delightfully interactive session you’ll prepare classic and contemporary palate pleasing appetizers and hors d’oeuvres that are deceptively easy to master.
This class will be offered twice: 9am-1pm Saturday, Nov. 10 and 5pm-9pm Saturday, Dec. 8. Classes are $75 per person (normally $125), and space is limited to 12 participants per class. Click here for more information or to register.
