The Mint Museum Ballot Ball

On Friday, October 26th from 6 – 9pm at Bentley’s on 27th in Uptown Charlotte the Young Affiliates of the Mint will host the Ballot Ball Preview Party. The event will feature a silent auction with items from retailers and restaurants including various Charlotte neighborhoods, including Dilworth, Plaza Midwood, and Uptown. At the Ballot Ball Preview Party, guests will get the chance to participate in the Vote for Art initiative, which enables visitors to the Mint Museum Uptown to engage directly in the art acquisition process of a large museum. Vote for Art features six pieces of art by artists from Brazil, North Carolina, New York City, Chile, Denmark, and Spain.

The Ballot Ball Preview Party serves as a preview event for the Ballot Ball, a fundraiser which will be held on Friday, November 9th at the Mint Museum Uptown. The Ballot Ball will feature cocktails, the last chance to vote for art, dinner, the announcement of the winning piece of art, dessert and dancing. Following the Ballot Ball is an after party at Suite in the EpiCentre with free admission and drink specials.

Tickets to the Ballot Ball Preview Party are $15 unless guests have already purchased tickets to the Ballot Ball, which are $200 per guest but members of the Young Affiliates of the Mint can purchase tickets to the Ballot Ball for $100.
